Looking to hire a birth doula? Dr. Candace offers free interviews/consultations for birthing parents. If you are interested in meeting with her to discuss birth doula packages, email her directly to schedule a consultation. Dr. Candace is taking a select number of birth doula clients. These clients must be patients of Cleveland Chiropractic and Integrative Health Center.

What is a doula? A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a birthing parent before, during, and after birth.

Doulas can empower birthing parents to have the best outcome possible- for birth, babies, and parents. Research shows that doulas:

• reduce the odds of a cesarean, birth complications, and medical interventions

• increase mother's experience of birth

• increase the mother/baby attachment

• increase breastfeeding initiation

We realize that not everyone has access to a doula and may not be able to have a doula present at their birth due to current hospital restrictions. We are so excited to announce that Jessy is expanding her offerings at the office! She is now offering custom doula consultations. You do not need to be a doula client of hers in order to schedule one of these. They are designed to meet your individual needs to help you prepare for birth.

• Comfort measures

• Positioning

• Infant care

• General massage instruction.
